Thoughtful Thursday
We don’t really have reason to write letters now-a-days. Not with phones calls, emails, texts, Face-Time, Skype. For those who celebrate Christmas or Xmas, a great way to introduce letter writing to our children is by having them write a letter to Santa. Jewish families can write letters to real-life Bubbie and Zadie, a cute elderly couple in New York.
Anyone, anytime, can simply write a letter to a distant cousin, an old friend, a former teacher. Get your kidlets a pre-holiday gift of stationary. (You can find stationary sets at the dollar store!) Start a yearly tradition, or better yet, a life-long habit.
