As a mother, I am not raising children.
A seed is not planted to harvest another seed. It is planted to enjoy the fruit after growth.
Children are the seed of experience. What we teach, how they explore, what they learn , all we share, every choice we make is a forever memory in the mind of a child. With growth, our child saplings strengthen into ability and understanding. Becoming like trees, once they are strong enough to stand against the wind, with deep reaching roots and far reaching branches, we can ease our nourishment and encouragement, allowing them to soak up what they can from their own environments.
I am tending to the fruit of growth.
I am not raising children. I am raising adults.
What forever memories will you have given your children?
