Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading, that I heard about from Damyanti over at Daily (w)rite. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I’m going to have to cheat and expand my two sentences – the one’s I’ve chosen are short. Besides, the impact is worth it! Here are a few teaser sentences from Mary Downing Hahn’s All The Lovely Bad Ones.
Giggles ran over the shadowy walls like a stream running over pebbles, chuckling to itself. “Bad ones, bad ones, bad, bad, bad.”
Speechless, Cory and I huddled together like scared sheep and stared at the boys—the ghosts, that is. The bad ones.
And they stared at us. Seth made a sudden lunge as if he meant to pinch us, and we scooted backwards. The giggles got louder.

Summer kidlet reading has continued with a favorite of BoyChild’s. We have so many Mary Downing Hahn works in the house, I don’t understand why I’ve not read her before. If she has my son enthusiastically reading, she is certainly doing something right!
